Las Vegas a new face lift!...
November 13th, 2007 1:20 AM

There is no other city like Las Vegas. The changes are exploding every where and the transformation is nothing less than magic. New buildings, hotels, resorts, casinos, civic centers... are coming up to life in an unprecedented pace.

Stardust, Wynn  Parking, Dunes, Hacienda, Alladin, Dessert Inn, Sands... are few of the old landmarks that were imploded to make space to new constructions on Las Vegas Strip.

It is now the New Frontier Hotel and Casino time to go into Las Vegas history. Elvis Presley did his first Las Vegas performance from the hotel in 1956.  Diana Ross, Ronald Reagan, The Supremes and Siegfried and Roy also performed here... We turn a new page!

The New Frontier Hotel and Casino will be blown into Las Vegas history early Tuesday Nov.13th. morning at 2:30 am. when it is imploded, to make way for construction of a new resort that will resemble the Plaza Hotel in New York City...

There will be a brief fireworks display before the implosion. It is expected tot take less than 10 seconds to bring the building down.

A new $5 billion luxury resort modeled on the Plaza hotel in New York City will be erected from the old Las Vegas buiding ashes!

Power Broker Forum & Reception at Midyear
November 10th, 2007 4:40 PM

RISMedia will hold its second annual Power Broker Forum and Reception during NAR?s Midyear Legislative Meetings on May 17

This past May, RISMedia held its 2nd Annual Power Broker Forum & Reception during NAR’s Midyear Legislative Meetings in Washington, D.C. More info

Here’s a recap. about one of the many topics disscused :

RISMedia Forum discussed what buyers and sellers want now... Information, Please...

Real estate professionals need to start giving consumers what they want "information". We have a history as an industry of being very superficial in our responses.

Today's real estate professionals need to look closely at the footprint they are leaving on the Web. What is your Web strategy? You need to have a cohesive strategy and think about consumers in a new way-not the way you thought about them in the past.

There are 45 million unique users looking at real estate online. Responding to continued concern over Google's intentions in the real estate space...   Google is not the destination for real estate consumers, but rather a vehicle to get them to where they want to go.

People who are coming to Google are not looking to Google for Real Estate information. They are coming to Google to look to "you" for real estate information. The problem is, many of "you" are not there (online).

Consumers will find the information first, and second will remember who supplied them with that information.  Online, we are able to engage the consumer through information that allows them to segment themselves. Attract these people... Position yourself as a vertically integrated home service provider to consumers well outside the point of sale. Put yourself in front of them and make it easy for them to press the button at the end.
